Good Turn Event - Serving a Community Meal at Lake Avenue Church
Each year, Pack 4 participates in a Good Turn Event around the holidays. This year, on January 10th, the boys did an excellent job serving the community at Lake Avenue Church's Community Meal Program. The boys set tables, plated desserts, handed out coffee and punch, then served a delicious tostada meal to the patrons of the meal program. One of the boys even played holiday songs on the piano!

Webelos 2 - First Responder Adventure
The boys in the Webelos 1 den worked on the First Responder Adventure this week. First, the boys learned the 4 C's of first aid: Check for danger, Call for help, Stay Calm, then Care. They learned valuable first aid skills such as CPR, helping someone who is choking, treating a wound, and caring for tick bites, bee stings, burns and so much more. As we say in Scouting...be prepared!

Good Turn Event - This Sunday, January 10th
Hi Pack 4!
Be sure to attend the annual Good Turn Event, being held this Sunday, January 10th, at Lake Ave. Church's "Lake Ave. Community Meal Program."
Pack 4 will be helping to serve meals for the homeless and less fortunate in our community. This is an excellent way to give back to the community while introducing your child to the concept of service to others.
The event is from 2:00pm to 6:00pm, and includes set-up, serving meals, and clean-up. For those who can't make the full 4 hours, you may sign up from 4:00 - 6:00. We need a minimum of 10 - 15 participants to make an effective impact.
Meet at the flag pole outside Hutchins Hall a few minutes early. If you arrive later, go to Room 400.
Scouts should wear Class A Uniform.
